To welcome our colleagues at the University’s School of Engineering to our new facility on campus, we held a showcase day to highlight our expertise, how we have already worked with the Uni on past projects, and to also raise some industrial challenges we could potentially collaborate on in the future.
The event was well attended by established and new School of Engineering colleagues, as well as a delegation from the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy and visitors from Cammel Laird; both of whom presented on their particular industry grand challenges, that the VEC may be able to assist with.
There were lots of opportunities to network, show demos and really discuss how the VEC can support academic research and teaching further. We’re excited to see the outcomes of this.
